Hostinger after the first year

The intro price is the ad. The renewal is the rent. Numbers below are Hostinger’s published ones — check their checkout if you are about to pay.

A lot of WordPress sites land on Hostinger because the first number is $2.99. That number is real. It is also a 48‑month checkout. When the term ends, Premium renews at $10.99 a month. Unlimited is $3.99 on the long intro and $16.99 when it renews.

We are not cheaper in year one. We will not pretend otherwise. If you can still sit on the teaser, sit on it. This note is for the invoice after that.

The public numbers

Only what Hostinger prints. Nothing else.

Plan Intro (48‑month) Renewal
Hostinger Premium $2.99/mo $10.99/mo
Hostinger Unlimited $3.99/mo $16.99/mo

Those two rungs are the ones people actually hit. Other Hostinger SKUs exist. We are not going to invent them here.

What we charge instead

Skunk keep-prices — the price that stays on the card:

No 48‑month hostage to unlock a smaller number. Isolation and malware defense are on by default. The first node is US East (New York area). Accounts are opening; this is not a checkout.

What this is not

It is not a claim that we win year one. $2.99 times 48 months is a different product from a keep-price. It is not unlimited. It is not phone support. It is not a compliance badge. We have not migrated a stadium of sites and we will not write as if we have.

Hostinger is a real host with a real panel. If their stack fits and you like the intro, use it. If you are staring at $10.99 or $16.99 because the teaser ended, you are already in the same money as Growth or Pro.

If you want off

When accounts open we will move one existing WordPress, cPanel, or hPanel site onto Growth for free. Saturday batch. You keep the domain. Details on the migration page.

Until then: first-wave list. Email and say you are coming off a Hostinger renew.
